Still on the road.

Finished up an Inter-Fraternity Leadership Conference in Indianapolis today.  It was a really cool weekend and gave me a very new perspective on Fraternity Life, and more importantly– put to rest many stereotypes I held about what it meant to be involved in Fraternities and Sororities. In addition, we did some serious high ropes stuff and rock climbing– and I met a lot of interesting people.

I also got the opportunity to visit the Delta Tau Delta National Office.  Which was quite a cool experience– there is a whole lot of history in that place, and even more activity. I had the opportunity to expose myself to Fraternities from all across the nation. And I learned importance of community-based philanthropy for Greek Life.

Currently I am in Napoleon, Ohio. Tomorrow we will be traveling to Bethany, West Virginia to see the “alpha-chapter” of Delta Tau Delta.  The place where the very first chapter was founded in 1858.  After that we will be traveling south across the Appalachians to Virginia and DC.   Not really a plan– just kind of following paths to see where they lead.
